ATTENTION: Current 5th and 8th grade students; if you are currently open enrolled into your elementary or middle school and you wish to stay in that feeder system you will need to apply for open enrollment for your 6th or 9th grade year respectively.
Any students who desire to attend a school outside of their designated attendance area for 2020-2021 may still apply for Open Enrollment/Nonresidence authorization for the school of their choice by completing an open enrollment form below and returning it to the school.
The open enrollment window for the 2021-2022 school year starts on December 1, 2020.
If you are looking to enroll your student into a Charter School or alternative program you will need to contact the Charter School or program directly. Each Charter School and alternative program has its own process for enrollment.

Open Enrollment is an opportunity for a student to attend a school of choice which is outside of their attendance area. In district students applying to a school outside their attendance area, as well as students who do not live within district boundaries but want to attend a school in St. Vrain, need to complete the form.
*Students who are currently attending their school of choice on open enrollment do not need to reapply each year in order to remain at the same school.
An opportunity to request that your student attends a school of choice, which is different than their designated attendance area school.
Open Enrollment Reminders
Students whose applications are denied or whose applications were submitted after the December 15 deadline will be added to the waitlist of the requested school. Board policy also provides the opportunity of appeal.
